General Policy
As a condition of use of UDAWWA, and as part of agreeing to our Terms and conditions you agree to
We uphold strict posting policies to ensure UDAWWA remains a clean, welcoming, and user-friendly platform for everyone. Any ads that violate these policies may be promptly removed from the site, as outlined in our Terms of Use. You bear full responsibility for the content you submit, and we reserve the right to reject or delete any content that we deem inappropriate or in violation of our terms and conditions or legal regulations. Additionally, we may, at our discretion, impose temporary or permanent restrictions on a user’s account or refuse registration altogether. For a detailed overview of acceptable usage guidelines, please refer to our Terms of Use. Should an ad fail to meet our standards or violate any criteria outlined below, we may remove it from the platform with or without prior notice.
Reasons for ads being deleted are:
- Violation of applicable laws: All job ads must adhere to the Fair Work Act 2009 and offer fair pay and employment terms. Advertisers are responsible for ensuring compliance with Australian laws.
- Manipulative practices: Ads designed to manipulate search results, such as keyword stuffing, may be removed.
- Duplicate ads: Ads identical to previously posted ones may be considered duplicates and removed.
- Non-English ads: Only ads in English are accepted, though additional translations are permitted.
- External links: Ads containing links to external sites are not allowed.
- Lack of description: Ads lacking sufficient detail for a positive browsing experience may be placed on hold or removed.
- Incorrect categorization: Ads posted in the wrong category or without a suitable category may be deleted.
- Non-compliance with advertising standards: Ads not meeting the Children’s Advertising Code or containing inappropriate language or images may be deleted.
- Discrimination: Ads discriminating based on race, religion, gender, etc., are not tolerated.
- Reporting fraudulent ads: Ads reporting fraudulent activity may be removed.
- Exploitative content: Ads profiting off natural disasters, health concerns, or tragic events may be deleted.
- Overseas postings: Ads from outside Australia are only accepted if relevant to individuals or businesses anticipating being in Australia.
- Misinformation: Ads containing misinformation, especially regarding health, may be removed.
Ads may be removed if reported or if found to breach policies, but will be reinstated promptly if found compliant upon review.
Your ad may be removed by our moderation tools if it breaches our Posting Policies or Terms of Use, as identified by automated processes.
We typically notify you via email when your ad is removed, but these emails might end up in your junk folder. Please check there, and consider adding UDAWWA to your safe senders list.
If none of the above reasons apply to your ad, please reach out to us through the “Contact Us” option at the bottom of our help pages, and we’ll assist you further.
Additionally, your ad might fall into a restricted category, leading to its removal.
